Dynamic Simulation

The behaviour of treatment processes can be precisely mapped over a defined period of time using simulation models with variable boundary conditions.

For existing plants, for example, it is possible to investigate the effect of a change in process technology or the integration of additional process stages on the performance of the system under investigation without having to intervene in the actual plant operation. It is also possible to analyse and evaluate the plant capacity with regard to a predicted change in the plant load in terms of hydraulics and influent composition. Similarly, modelling is used in the conceptual design and planning of new plants or in the implementation of innovative technologies. For complex tasks, dynamic simulation thus offers a useful supplement to conventional static design methods.

Our range of services in this field covers wastewater and sludge treatment for municipal and industrial applications.
