The EXPOTRAIN project, financed by BMUV, will be focused in activated sludge and will take place on
4th and 5th September 2023 in São Paulo, SP – Brazil!
Soon, Aqua & Waste International GmbH, in partnership with Emscher Wassertechnik GmbH and the German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste (DWA), will be holding EXPOTRAIN, a training course on sizing treatment plants according to German design standards, with a focus on activated sludge.
Aimed at professionals from engineering companies, sanitation operators and universities, the general objective of the training is to enable participants to understand the differences in regulations in Brazil and Germany for dimensioning treatment processes with activated sludge.
It is worth noting that the knowledge transfer was developed from a modular training concept by stages of different processes in wastewater treatment. The project is a pilot implementation for specialists and technicians with the aim of promoting future partnerships between Brazilian and German institutions.
The training is supported locally by Sabesp.
